Network applications
is a collection of benefits that we can offer to our clients immediately after
their network LAN/WAN is up and running. The following are examples of these
network applications:
- VoIP: Voice over IP is a collection of hardware and
software that are put on WAN routers to allow people in various networked
locations to talk to each other and to send faxes over existing WAN links with
no extra cost.
- IPT: IP telephony provides a way for you to extend consistent
communication services to all your employees, whether they are in main campus
locations, at branch offices, or working remotely, or are mobile. IP telephony
transmits voice communications over a network using open-standards-based
Internet Protocol.
- UC: Unified Communication can help address the challenge
today's organizations face as they contend with increasingly complex
environments that feature a wide array of communications methods. Employees,
business partners, and customers now conduct business using seemingly infinite
combinations of phones, voice messaging, e-mail, fax, mobile clients, and
rich-media conferencing. Without unified communications, however, these tools
are often not used as effectively as they could be. The result is information
overload and misdirected communications that delay decisions, slow down
processes, and reduce productivity.
- VC: Video Conferencing allows people to sit across the
electronic table from their offices as if they are physically on one table. They
can see and hear each other, and they can share files and documents at the same
time.
- Audio/Video Streaming: Streaming for audio and video or both
is done either live or for recorded media. Streaming solutions come
preconfigured for vertical market usage like: Education, health, finance,
retail, security, and so on.
- IPCC: IP Contact Center delivers intelligent contact routing,
call treatment, network-to-desktop computer telephony integration (CTI), and
multi-channel contact management over an IP infrastructure. It combines
multi-channel automatic call distributor (ACD) functionality with IP telephony
in a unified solution, enabling the rapid deployment of distributed contact
center infrastructure.
