The Ministry Of Municipal & Rural Affairs (MOMRA) selected ARCOM from the local IT solution providers through an invitation tender to implement a full-scale IT solution for the Municipal Councils Elections in 1425/1426 and e-Government implementation project. This was very the first election carried out in the recent history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The project included the following infrastructures and technologies:

1. The Municipal Councils Elections:

• Build a data center with all the hardware, software, and services needed for such scale.
• Deliver and operate and maintain servers, and storage systems for the elections, current MOMRA applications, and full migration to e-Government.
• Broadband Internet for the Data Center.
• Provided a United Nation approved Voter & Candidate Registration System for lists and statistics.
• Performing the Voter & Candidate Registration process kingdom-wide using a central operation theater with over 800 total people working around the clock through the 3 phases of the Municipal Councils Election Process.
• Building an IVR system and a Help Desk System and Personnel working around the clock.
• Designing, developing, and managing a portal on the Internet which hosted wealth of information on the election process and timely news and statistics for each phase separately and on the overall venture.
• Developed and managed an archiving system for the election process.
• Delivered and installed 1200 PCs, 600 printers, and 300 scanners spread kingdom-wide.
• Provided all the IT Security related resources to protect the project and its assets and functions.
• Provided a team to manage the Data Center around the clock.
• ARCOM is responsible for the maintenance & operation for all the above for the whole contract period.

2. The Networks:

• Design and implement a 4000 node local area network in the Ministry Towers in Almather
• Implement area local networks in 104 municipalities and Branches around the kingdom.
• Delivered the WAN equipments to connect 163 municipalities and Branches around the kingdom with the Ministry in Riyadh MPLS (IP/VPN) technology
